Fabrication and Installation Process of Steel Structure Engineering ( Part 1 )

In recent years, new building materials have been used in steel structures, light steel structures, space frame structures and other projects, especially light steel structure projects , which are completely based on new building materials. It is widely used in industrial plants, warehouses, cold storage, garages, commercial markets, restaurants, indoor compartments and other projects. Its advantages are novel color, heat insulation and moisturizing, flame retardant and fire prevention, short construction period, quick commissioning and use, convenient disassembly and assembly, multiple use and long service life. It is an ideal structure for urban development and construction.

1.Basic composition of light steel structure engineering

The light steel structure is mainly light steel. It mainly consists of steel beam columns, sassafras strips, wall beams, and profiled metal panels and composite panels. Beams and columns are generally composed of welded H steel or I-steel, purlins and wall beams are generally composed of C-shaped steel, and the pressed composite board is composed of upper and lower laminated boards and polyurethane plastic or polystyrene sandwiched in the middle. The foam board is made by bonding together with special glue and special process.

2.Manufacturing process of light steel structure engineering

(1)Beams and columns should be manufactured in strict accordance with the geometric dimensions required by the drawings, and according to the standards of “Code for Construction and Acceptance of Steel Structure Engineering” GB50205-2001, piece by piece blanking, welding, adjustment of deformation and correction, shot blasting coating, and reasonable stacking.

(2)The construction process of beam and column production: steel material inspection qualified → component setting → flame cutting machine blanking → H steel forming machine assembly → automatic welding machine welding → H steel automatic shaping machine adjustment → geometric dimension verification processing → shot blasting machine removal Rust→painting→reasonable stacking.

(3)Quality inspection elements for beam and column production: ① Check the geometric dimensions of the components to ensure that they meet the design requirements after welding; ② Check the weld seam comprehensively, deal with defects such as pores, sand holes, and undercuts, and check whether the height of the weld leg meets the design requirements; ③ Check the beam Whether the twisting and bending value of the column meets the requirements of the design specification.

3.Installation process of light steel structure

The components are installed horizontally and vertically, and the position is accurate. The total difference of the bottom flatness of the steel column should be <3mm, and the verticality of each column should be controlled at H/1000. In addition to the same elevation between the two ends of the beam and the joint of the column, it is also necessary to strictly control the verticality of the two ends and the center of each beam to meet the requirements of the specification.

( 1 ) The installation of steel columns is carried out when the concrete foundation is completed and the strength meets the requirements, and the position and elevation of the foundation meet the requirements.

( 2 ) Its construction process is: foundation acceptance → leveling of the foundation level → setting out and positioning → component transportation and discharge → hoisting and fixing in place → alignment and fastening of theodolite → integration of column installation → column installation acceptance.

( 3 ) Beam installation is carried out under the condition that the steel column is aligned, positioned and fastened, and has certain rigidity, strength and stability. The knotty steel beams are assembled on the ground, and the straightness is adjusted from the end of the gable to the steel beam installation. Fix with steel purlins to prevent tipping.
