1.Add a small column on the winding node
The method of adding a small column on the upper chord node to form a drainage slope is more flexible. The structure of the small column is relatively simple, and it is one of the most popular methods for finding slopes. When using this method, for areas with seismic requirements, such as the slope finding method with small columns, the small columns should be checked for earthquake resistance and stability.
2.The whole space frame is arched
The method of arching the entire space frame to form the roof drainage slope is to keep the upper and lower chords of the space frame parallel and only raise the entire space frame in the middle of the span. Suitable for double slope drainage. This approach has good seismic performance.
3.The height of the space frame changes
In order to form the roof drainage slope, the space frame can be used to change the height, that is, the height of the space frame is increased in the middle of the span, so that the upper chord will form a slope, and the bottom chord will still be parallel to the ground. Due to the increase in the mid-span height, the internal force of the upper and lower chords of the space frame can be reduced, so that the internal force of the space frame tends to be uniform, but the types of upper chords and webs are increased, which brings certain difficulties to the production of the space frame. This approach will also improve the seismic performance of the space frame. In order to ensure that no water enters the building or gathers water on the top, the drainage structure design of the building must be fully considered at the beginning of the space frame structure design.
