Railway station waiting hall and platform roof canopy usually adopt space structure or light steel structure (medium & small span).

With the rapid development of high-speed rail,the tube truss structure with better visual sense (on-site welding installation) almost monopolized the high-speed rail waiting hall and platform roof canopy structure.The exterior wall of the waiting hall generally adopts various forms of curtain walls,and the roof generally adopts al-mg-mn plates,color steel sheet,aluminum plates,and membrane structures.

The steel structure of the bus station is mainly used on the roof of the waiting hall.Bus stations usually use a more cost-effective space structure,and rarely use tube truss. The roof is made of color steel plate,al-mg-mn plate and other materials. In general,more attention is paid to the use of structure than aesthetic.

1.The large-span structure can be realized by BJMB system with effictive cost. Lower string can be suspended (must be calculated).

2.The BJMB structure is a multiple statically indeterminate structure,the most safety structure among all structure types,which is widely used in the roof structure of the waiting hall.

3.The most important feature of BJMB structure is its excellent seismic resistance.

4.Various shapes can be easily realized.

Process description

1.Design process:

Various possible working conditions must be considered. Before designing,the possible combing of various load combinations should be carried out,and various working conditions should be calculated according to local conditions.The highest level of safety factor is adopted,and the selection of component size follows the principle of choosing large rather than small.

2.Produce process:

(1)The key to the processing of the rods of the space frame is the welding of the blanking plate( or cone) with the steel pipe. The specification requires that the welding seam level is Level 2. Although the space structure manufacturers are equipped with automatic welding machines,but the angle,swinging position,and speed of the welding torch must be manually operated,which have great impact on welding quality.  Space structure manufacturers need to have a mature,proven and effective welding process for rods.

(2)The bolt ball processing is fine processing. The accuracy of the screw hole angle is the key to the quality of the bolt ball. The key to the angle accuracy is the tooling fixture.

(3)The key to the processing of the bearing support is the verticality of the component and the quality of the weld.

3.Installation process:

During installation,the stability of the structure must be judged at any time. Once the installation sequence of the large-span structure has problems,the bending of the components will occur during use,which will cause hidden dangers in the future. It is recommended that large-span or complex structures be installed by skilled Chinese workers.

(1)During the installation of the space structure,all the components should be stacked and placed smoothly and neatly,and there must be protective measures to prevent the rain from corroding the components. In addition,each bundle of components must be listed and numbered,to avoid that the components are too chaotic and affect the progress of construction.

(2)The rigging,slings,etc. of the crane should be checked frequently. The load of the rated standard should not be exceeded in order to avoid accidents.

(3)When hoisting,operations such as the movement and turning of components can only be followed by the command of one person,and cannot be commanded by multiple people. When the component is moving,no personnel can stay in the lifting range.

(4) When installing the roof of the high-speed rail station,the safe passage at the construction site must be kept clear at all times,and a protective shed should be erected when necessary to strictly prevent accidents.
