172 meters spanning column-free space

1.Project Overview

This is a raw material yard closed renovation project, in which 550 yard steel structure project shed span 172m+121.5m, length 550m, height about 46m. 121.5m adopts pipe truss, 172m adopts prestressed pipe truss.

In recent years, with the increasing pressure of environmental protection and the emergence of oversize span closure of material yard, the span of structure is constantly refreshed, and the original form of space frame structure is more and more unable to adapt to the requirements of large span, and the pre-stressed tensioned string structure came into being, which is light and simple, and due to the pre-stressing force exerted on the steel cables, it makes the structural force more reasonable, and it fully demonstrates the combination of structural force and beauty, and it has been widely used in the following areas It is widely used in large-span buildings such as airports, stations, exhibitions and material yard enclosures.

2.Structural Program Introduction

The structural scheme adopts 172m span prestressed steel arch truss system, the prestressed steel arch truss consists of upper chord truss, lower chord cable, and braces between cable and truss, and the arch foot of prestressed steel arch truss is articulated with concrete columns; there are seven longitudinal connection trusses in the longitudinal direction, which form a stable space structural system with the transverse steel arch trusses.

      Construction Program

Adopt cumulative slip program

At the same time, the project’s building shape is simple, focusing on the combination of building form and structural system, mechanical and electrical equipment and other specialized crafts, highlighting the practicality of the function, and reducing building energy consumption by enhancing the building’s natural lighting and natural ventilation measures.
